Cookie Policy
How AI Waiter uses cookies and browser storage.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Together with similar technologies such as localStorage, they let us keep you signed in, protect forms against forgery and remember interface preferences.
Cookies on waiter24.ai
Strictly necessary (always active)
These cookies are required for the website to work and need no consent:
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
laravel_session | Keeps your sign-in session and interface language | Session / 2 hours |
XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) | Session |
remember_web_* | «Remember me» sign-in | 30 days |
The support chat on this website additionally uses your browser's localStorage to keep the conversation across pages. This data stays in your browser and is not used for tracking.
Analytics and marketing (only with your consent)
With your consent, given via the cookie banner, we additionally use the following third-party cookies. They are not set until you opt in, and you can withdraw your consent at any time via the «Cookie settings» link in the page footer.
| Name | Provider / Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 — anonymised traffic statistics | Up to 13 months |
_fbp, _fbc | Meta (Facebook) Pixel — marketing and conversion measurement | Up to 3 months |
w24_attr | waiter24.ai (our own, first-party) — remembers which channel first brought you here (search engine, social network, campaign link), so that if you later sign up we can tell which of our own marketing works. Contains only that referral information; it is not shared with anyone and is not used for advertising. | 180 days |
Independently of these cookies, we keep an anonymous count of arrivals at this website: the referring website or campaign tag, the page you landed on and the page language. Those records contain no IP address, no device or browser identifier and nothing else that could be traced back to you or your device, so they are statistics rather than personal data and are kept regardless of your cookie choice.
Browser storage used by the chat widget on restaurant websites
When a restaurant embeds the AI Waiter chat widget on its own website, the widget stores a small amount of data in the localStorage of that website (it does not set cross-site cookies):
| Key | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
aiwaiter_<key> | Conversation session token, so the chat continues after a page reload | Until cleared; a new conversation starts after ~3 hours of inactivity |
aiwaiter_<key>_cart | Contents of the chat cart | Until the order is placed or storage is cleared |
aiwaiter_<key>_greeted | Remembers that the greeting bubble was already shown | Until cleared |
aiwaiter_<key>_ss | Conversation start timestamp (used for the «new chat» logic) | Until cleared |
aiwaiter_<key>_age | Stores age confirmation where the restaurant enables age verification | Until cleared |
This storage is functional only: it is not shared between websites and is not used for advertising or profiling.
Managing cookies
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the «Cookie settings» link in the page footer. You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in and forms.
