Acceptable Use Policy
What is and is not allowed when using AI Waiter.

Purpose of this Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy defines permitted and prohibited uses of the AI Waiter platform and supplements the Terms of Service.
Permitted use
- Answering guests' questions about your menu, dishes, allergens, ingredients, opening hours and services.
- Taking and clarifying orders, reservations, callback and staff-call requests.
- Recommending dishes based on guests' preferences; informing guests about promotions and loyalty rewards.
- Providing customer support through the support-desk chat mode.
Prohibited use
Using the platform for the following is a violation and may lead to suspension of the account:
Harmful or deceptive content
- Generating offensive, discriminatory or hateful content, including through custom system prompts.
- Misleading guests — false information about ingredients, allergens, prices or availability.
- Presenting the AI as a human where this misleads guests in a way that matters.
- Collecting guests' personal data beyond what is needed to provide the service, or using it for purposes guests would not expect.
Age-restricted products
- Selling or promoting alcohol or other age-restricted products to minors.
- Disabling or circumventing the age-verification feature where it is legally required for your offering.
Technical abuse
- Attempting to bypass rate limits or plan quotas, or overloading the system.
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling or copying the widget or API.
- Sharing your widget key with third parties or using one account for multiple unrelated businesses.
- Prompt-injection attacks or attempts to make the assistant act outside its configured role.
- Using messenger channels (Telegram, WhatsApp) to send spam or unsolicited messages.
- Connecting a BYOK API key that you are not authorised to use.
Legal violations
- Any use that violates applicable law, including consumer-protection and food-information regulations.
- Fraud, money laundering or any other illegal activity.
- Infringement of third-party copyright or trademarks.
Enforcement
Depending on the severity of the violation we may:
- send a warning by e-mail;
- temporarily suspend the account;
- remove violating content;
- terminate the account permanently without refund;
- report criminal activity to law enforcement.
