Updated: 17.07.2026

Purpose of this Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy defines permitted and prohibited uses of the AI Waiter platform and supplements the Terms of Service.

Permitted use

  • Answering guests' questions about your menu, dishes, allergens, ingredients, opening hours and services.
  • Taking and clarifying orders, reservations, callback and staff-call requests.
  • Recommending dishes based on guests' preferences; informing guests about promotions and loyalty rewards.
  • Providing customer support through the support-desk chat mode.

Prohibited use

Using the platform for the following is a violation and may lead to suspension of the account:

Harmful or deceptive content

  • Generating offensive, discriminatory or hateful content, including through custom system prompts.
  • Misleading guests — false information about ingredients, allergens, prices or availability.
  • Presenting the AI as a human where this misleads guests in a way that matters.
  • Collecting guests' personal data beyond what is needed to provide the service, or using it for purposes guests would not expect.

Age-restricted products

  • Selling or promoting alcohol or other age-restricted products to minors.
  • Disabling or circumventing the age-verification feature where it is legally required for your offering.

Technical abuse

  • Attempting to bypass rate limits or plan quotas, or overloading the system.
  • Reverse-engineering, decompiling or copying the widget or API.
  • Sharing your widget key with third parties or using one account for multiple unrelated businesses.
  • Prompt-injection attacks or attempts to make the assistant act outside its configured role.
  • Using messenger channels (Telegram, WhatsApp) to send spam or unsolicited messages.
  • Connecting a BYOK API key that you are not authorised to use.

Legal violations

  • Any use that violates applicable law, including consumer-protection and food-information regulations.
  • Fraud, money laundering or any other illegal activity.
  • Infringement of third-party copyright or trademarks.

Enforcement

Depending on the severity of the violation we may:

  • send a warning by e-mail;
  • temporarily suspend the account;
  • remove violating content;
  • terminate the account permanently without refund;
  • report criminal activity to law enforcement.
